People are born naked. There should be no shame in loving yourself and embracing the way you are born into the earth.
After the time of Adam and Eve, using clothes has been the norm. We cover up and we use clothing as a part of our lifestyle. But still, there is nudism.
What is Nudism?
If you check on Wikipedia, this is how they would describe nudism or naturism:
“Naturism, or nudism, is a cultural movement practising, advocating, and defending personal and social nudity, most but not all of which takes place on private property. The term also refers to a lifestyle based on personal, family, or social nudity. Naturism may be practiced individually, within a familial or social context, or in public.”
Looking at this definition, it still seems a lot to take. When simply put naturism is just the way people perform communal nudity by being in harmony with nature and promoting self-respect, for others, and that of the environment.
Yes, it is understandable to love to wear clothes but there is also nothing wrong with the belief in nudism that connects us to nature. Being stripped off your clothes doesn’t mean to be bad. It is all about having the confidence and the enjoyment of being naked. Whether it be alone or with others, you can get naked without feeling guilty or judged about it.
Many people are against nudity but it all depends on the intent. It is not appropriate if you associate nudity with something dirty. But if you like being nude because you believe you are as one with nature, then by all means go.
As long as you know your reason for doing so and you respect and value the environment and yourself, there is nothing wrong with believing in nudism. If others find joy by being naked, let them be. It is their lives to live and what matters is they are not harming other people or the environment.
